Our story
Beau Brummel Creation started simple and humble. Beau Brummel Creation was established in year 1981. It all started with a simple dream. This dream comes from a seamstress whom graduated with marvellous skills of 1970’s. She has noted different cultural and fashions from the past. Her graduation earns her a skill that helps leaves deep impressions. Garment tailoring in the 1970s was a fascinating mix of classic craftsmanship and bold experimentation. The decade’s tailoring reflected massive social and cultural shifts. Today, it has evolved from the formal elegance to an expressive sense of personal style.
Our workshops
We started from 1 workshop in the past. However, today we have good machinery to utilise and maximise our skills. The 1970s saw a shift towards machine and fused construction for affordability and mass production. This workshop welcomes everyone. This workshop share a deep connections to the experience that we accumulated. Over the years, we have seen various sizes and body’s structure. We are confident to handle various types of body’s measurements.
Our craftsmanship & originality
We provide both technical discipline and a creative craft. We combined measurement accuracy, fabric knowledge, and fine handwork together. Having a keen eye for proportion and balance comes with great patience and precision. Requiring deep knowledge of textiles is done by feeling the behaviour of a cloth. We have sharp spatial sense to visualize how flat pieces comes up to form a 3D garment. Translating body measurements from a 2D draft pattern to 3D garment. We have knowledge of body proportions and garment balance. We don’t just sew. We sculpt fabric around the human form.
Consistency in stitching, pressing, and finishing is a routine that we always practiced. A finely pressed garment shows sharp lines and a clean silhouette. Hand stitching is also the key to fine craftsmanship which allows flexibility, shaping, and durability. Precise cutting is critical in our place. We cut according to the fabric grain and pattern direction to ensure drape and fit. We adjusts seams, darts, and padding to contour the garment to the wearer’s body. We also practiced Pad stitching, Pick stitching and Basting. You have no worries coming here. You certainly do not regret placing your orders with us.
